DAYS 02 – NEGOMBO / KURUNEGALA / HABARANA / GIRITALE

  • After breakfast proceed to Giritale
  • Enroute visit Kurunegala
  • At Habarana an Exciting Elephant-back safari

  • Visit Giritale City (Nature Walk)

DAYS 3 – GIRITALE

  • After breakfast visit the magnificent 4th century Giritale Tank
  • Visit Polonnaruwa Ruins

DAY 4 – GIRITALE / SIGIRIYA

  • After breakfast climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress
  • Back to Hotel relaxing by the hotel’s pool
  • Evening cycling through local villages

DAY 5 – SIGIRIYA / DAMBULLA / KANDY

  • After breakfast visit Dambulla Cave Temple
  • Visit Alu Vihara Temple & Mari Amman Kovil
  • Visit Spice Garden
  • Check in at hotel

DAYS 6 – KANDY / PINNAWELA / KANDY

  • After breakfast, visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage
  • Visit Peradeniya botanical gardens
  • Visit the Temple of the Tooth and witness Kandy Cultural Dance
  • Overnight stay at Hotel Thilanka or similar

DAYS 7 – KANDY

  • After breakfast, City tour of Kandy
  • Visit Gem Museum and Art and craft Centre
  • Time off for Shopping
  • Overnight stay at Hotel Thilanka or similar

DAY 8 – KANDY / KITULGALA

  • After breakfast, proceed to Kitulgala
  • Train ride that twists and turns through the green ranks of tea bushes which cover the higher hillsides, to reach Nawalapitiya
  • Pick-up from Nawalapitiya
  • Visit location of the film ‘Bridge over River Kwai” shot in 1957
  • Afternoon, can look forward to a variety of activities. Activities are based on or around the river and include white water rafting, canoeing
  • Overnight stay at Kitulgala Rest House or similar

DAY 9 – KITULGALA / NUWARA ELIYA

  • After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya
  • Visit a Tea Plantation, opportunities to stop and take photos
  • Check into Hotel
  • Overnight stay at The Heritage or similar

DAY 10 – NUWARA ELIYA / UDAWALAWE (JUNGLE CAMP)

  • After Breakfast set off for our jungle camp
  • En-route visit Ella – Rawana Ella Falls etc
  • Arrive at Udawalawe where you’ll spend a night in a tented camp in a jungle clearing
  • In the evening can sit around the campfire CAMP (MULTI-SHARE)

DAY 11 – JUNGLE SAFARI / SOUTH BEACH

  • Before breakfast set off on early morning jeep safari at Udawalawe National Park . – kids will love the thrill of coming across a herd of wild elephants
  • Visit G alle – famous Dutch built Fort
  • Overnight stay at Hotel Serendib or similar

DAY 12 – SOUTH BEACH

  • Relax at Beach
  • Glass Bottom Boat ride to see Corals

DAY 13 – SOUTH BEACH

DAY 14 – SOUTH BEACH / COLOMBO / NEGOMBO / AIRPORT

  • After breakfast proceed to Colombo
  • Colombo City for a shopping tour. Visit the Ceramics Corporation Showrooms, Majestic City shopping complex and the ODEL Unlimited Dress Boutique
  • Transfer to the airport
  • Tour Ends

  • Then descend to your jungle camp on the edge of a national park called Uda Walawe. Here you’ll drive in jeeps in search of wild elephant, sambar, spotted deer and other wildlife
  • South Beach for a relaxing on the tropical, sandy beach of the Indian Ocean
